So part of my blog is to refer you to mailing lists that I am on that I think are worthwhile and are deals. Once I tell you to sign up, I am not going to resend it to the blog unless it is something spectacular! I will organize all the mailing lists soon into one spot.
YAD is probably the best email list to be on in the Jewish community because they cover a lot of other organizations. Most of the activities are free or cheap or at least a fair price!

| Marriage 101 - 8 week course starting January 19, 2010
|  Starting Tuesday, January 19, 2010 this course will run for 8 weeks. Held Tuesdays from 6 pm - 7:30 pm this course is open to those considering marriage, engaged, or recently married - interfaith couples are welcome. This program in partnership with Jewish Family Service will cost $180 per couple and cover all materials and course fees. The course will be held at the Jewish Family Service campus 4131 South Braeswood. There is only space for 4 more couples so sign up today! Contact us for more information.

|  The Jewish Federation of Greater Houston's annual phone-a-thon Super Sunday and Super Week 2010 themed "You are Our Greatest Resource" are right around the corner! Chaired by Susan Farb Morris and David C. Morris.
When: January 24, 25 and 26, Shift Choices are as follows:
Sunday, January 24, 2010: 9 am - 12 pm or 11:30 am - 2:30 pm
Monday, January 25, 2010: 6 pm - 9 pm
Tuesday, January 26, 2010: 6 pm - 9 pm
Where: The Jewish Community Center, 5601 S. Braeswood
What are we asking: Help us make phone calls or help with clerical work
The Extras: There will be plenty of food, prizes, and a chance to reconnect with other members of the community! We'll have a exciting trainer on board to help energize and inspire us for fundraising in these uncertain and difficult times.
