Chick Fil A Calendar Insider info
When I was at Chick Fil A on Thursday, I inquired about the Calendar. Apparently, the employees there are having a contest on who can sell the most. Did you know that you can start using any of the 12 coupons in there right away? And that you can use multiple coupons on the same day? And the coupons will never expire? I plan on using all 12 coupons so for $6, that comes out to $0.50/item! That makes it a deal!
I also saw the McDs calendars are up. You get it for FREE with purchase of $10 Gift Card. I am sure I will spend more than $10 over the year so it is worth it! I used a coupon almost every month last year from the calendar. It was mostly free mccafe drinks, but that it was I consume the most from mcds anyways.

YMMV: CVS 95% off Halloween Clearance
I ran in today looking for thanksgiving themed items and ended up buying a few halloween things instead. The CVS on Sawdust rd finally had the illy coffee drinks in (worth $2) so I got mine for free with the coupon from the cvs machine that came out a couple of weeks ago. I have one more left. My total purchase was $0.40 + I scanned my reuseable bag card, which is worth $0.25. So, I am happy with the nonesense I got for $0.15!
ps. They didn't have much thanksgiving things at the CVS or at the Walgreens or at the Dollar Tree, but they did have a lot of thanksgiving themed items at the $0.99 cent store, which is the one next to pump it up.

McDs does 12 months of coupons, too, every year. They were $1 last year or free with purchase of a $10 gift card. Mine still is giving. Pump It Up: New Pop-In Playtime Hours! M-F 9:30am -5pm
This is historic! Pump it up progessed from open only a couple of mornings a week to mornings and afternoons, and now ALL DAY!
I wonder if it is a coincidence that their new hours are similar to Wonderwild's hours, which happens to be located down the street.
The last few afternoon play times I went to (because I had b1g1 coupons in the Entertainment book, I needed to use up), they were almost empty. Hopefully, this will increase their traffic.
If you share the cost of admission, the coupon makes it $3/person for 5 and under or $4/person for 6 and up.

Reminder: Indian Springs Taste of the Village this Saturday!
We have gone in years past. There was a giant tent set up in the Indian Springs Shopping Center with tons of food. We made the mistake of eating lunch before going. My advice is to go to this FOR lunch. They also had a stage with music and some other entertainment like a wells fargo stage coach that you could climb in. I consider it a worthwhile event to go to. You can be in and out in 30 minutes to an hour.

On Sunday September 4, 2011 Thomas Clark was outside with his 3 year old son Caden
when a tree broke and fell. The tree was falling where Caden was standing. Thomas ran to
his son and pushed him out of the way. Thomas saved his son's life without regard to his
own. The tree hit Thomas. He was airlifted to Hermann Memorial Hospital where he died
eight days later. Thomas is survived by his loving wife Brenda and their two sons Caden (4)
and Kyle (1).
Thomas not only saved the life of his son, he also saved the lives of several others as he
was an organ donor.
Directions: From I-45, take Exit 77 (Research Forest Drive). Continue on Research Forest
for 6 miles to E. Alden Bridge Drive (one block past the water tower). Turn right. Take
second left onto Crownridge Drive.
Registration: Post-entry only beginning at 7:00AM in the parking lot of the Barbara Bush
Elementary School. Note: The school itself will not be used for the races; nearest "facilities"
are a two-minute walk away at the Alden Bridge Park
Entry Fee: Remains $1.00. Donations in addition to the entry fee for the family of
