Celebrate Hanukkah!
Classical 91.7's Jaemi Loeb presents an hour of music celebrating the Jewish Festival of Lights. Within the Jewish tradition, Hanukkah is a simcha, a celebration, extending over eight nights, and while there is no specific liturgy for the festival, there are certainly many traditional songs that express its meaning. Join us as we sample some of these songs written perhaps for the synagogue or the Klezmer band! December 20, 8pm & December 28, 12pm.
