National Night Out Party: Saturday, October 2nd 1:00-5:00pm

I just read this in the Grogan's Mill Village Assoc Newsletter. Sounds like a fun activity. October is a good time of year to be outdoors, too.
 

National Night Out Community-wide Kickoff

 

Come meet members of local law enforcement and safety agencies such as FBI, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Homeland Security, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), The Woodlands Fire Department, Montgomery County Constables: Precinct 3, Alpha & Omega Mounted Patrol, Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office and more! Explore their vehicles, view demonstrations, and try on their equipment!
·        Appearances by Puffy the Pinecone, Smokey the Bear, McGruff the Crime Dog, and Memorial Herman's Carey Bear
·        Join us for free food, music and an inflatable bounce house! This is a free event and everyone is invited!
·        Free parking available at Hewitt Associates
