America Recycles Day at 3R Bazaar and Compost Fair

—3R Bazaar & Compost Fair Celebrates America Recycles Day on Saturday, November 10, 2012—

The festivities will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 8203 Millennium Forest Dr., Parks, Recreation and Environmental Services facility.

Check out the opportunities to reduce, reuse and recycle on November 10th!

• It's back…recycling of single-use, ALKALINE batteries!  This one-day event will collect AA, AAA, C, D and 9 volts only.
• Support your Village by collecting CAPS and CORKS to benefit Stehlin Foundation for Cancer Research.
• STYROFOAM™ collection to spotlight the Montgomery County Precinct 3 program.
• SHRED DAY benefits Interfaith Food Pantry – 5 canned goods or $5 per bank box of personal documents.
• COMPOST FAIR: one step at a time, stations reveal how to make and use rich compost.
• Fun, educational booths that take recycling and reuse beyond the ordinary.
• PLUS! The BUY RECYCLED BOUTIQUE in partnership with The Woodlands G.R.E.E.N. – once a year trunk show offering chic & unique items, from toys and gardening gifts to jewelry and glassware.
