Fireworks in Galveston every night this weekend

I have many happy memories of celebrating the 4th in Galveston. I remember that Marble Slab would give the biggest ice creams on the holiday. I wonder if they still do. I also remember a ton of traffic on the seawall. So, make sure y'all are where you want to be early. I also remember people shooting off their own fireworks on the beach. I wonder if that is even allowed.

Hey Kids! June 29 is Time to Rock with The Zinghoppers at Pottery Barn Kids

The best in preschool pop is making its way to Pottery Barn Kids at The Woodlands Mall on Wednesday, June 29 when The Zinghoppers stop in for a summer kid's concert. They've been described as Barney meets the Black Eyed Peas and they've been named Nashville's Best Kids Entertainers by Parents Magazine for the past two years.

The Zinghoppers – Conductor Jack and Penelope the Possum – will be rocking at The Woodlands Mall with two shows on June 29 at 10 am and 11 am. Parents/caregivers are required to stay with children during the performance. Reservations are not required.

Pottery Barn Kids is located outside in The Courtyard at The Woodlands Mall. For more information, call The Woodlands Mall at 281-363-3409.

The Red, Hot & Blue Festival: Monday, July 4 from 6 – 10 pm

Last year, I could see Fireworks from my driveway, so we probably aren't venturing out.
Don't forget, that all the pools in The Woodlands are open and free on July 4. They also have acitivities at select times.

The Red, Hot & Blue Festival will be on Monday, July 4 from 6 – 10 pm at Town Green Park and Waterway Square. The event will feature live music, hot dog and watermelon eating contests, vendor booths, children's activities and much more. Following a full evening of festivities at Waterway Square and Town Green Park, festival goers will be treated to one of the region's largest fireworks displays beginning at dusk and simulcast on Sunny 99.1.
