Why:

The juried, fine art event boasts a stress-free outdoor gallery with 300 artists working in 17 artistic media. Adding to the festive outdoor gallery are wine cafés, restaurants, Broadway in Houston's Broadway Café, and a performing arts stage.

Park in the Theater District (location tbd) to ride the festival shuttle. There is no public parking in Memorial Park. Tickets are $12.00 and can be purchased online beginning February 15, 2011. (bayoucityartfestival.com)
