The Houston Zoo joins zoos and aquariums world wide to make a splash on Wednesday, June 8 in observance of World Ocean's Day. This year World Ocean's Day celebrates the beloved Dr. Seuss book, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.

Join us on June 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for readings of Dr. Seuss's children's book as well as special sea lion presentations (learn more about how Astro the sea lion came to the Houston Zoo) and enrichment activities with denizens of the deep such as lionfish, piranha, and otters, just to name a few!

Kids and families will get to know funny fish "from here to there" and learn how everyday actions impact their ocean home. Children can also enjoy making a special craft to take home as a reminder of World Ocean's Day!
