I showed up to the Lake Woodlands Starbucks at about 2:45pm. 2 ppl ahead of me, neither of them picked up the tall refresher. I even told the person in front of me and she wanted her normal fix. They had samples also by the register so I was able to try the lime flavored one as well as picking up my tall hibiscus. I liked both. I wonder how many calories they have and how much caffeine. I looked around the place. It was busy, not crowded, and I saw very few people with the refreshers even though there was a sign over the register displaying the freebie promotion. Best sample of the week. Friendly servers. Why am I so impatient when I have to wait for my drink? How long does it take to pour? I wish there were some activities to do while waiting. I guess that is when people check their smart phones. I like drive through better. At least starbucks is promoting community interaction.
