Creepy Crawlers Oct 23 6pm

A family-oriented Halloween alternative with guided night hikes, storytelling, face painting, hayrides, and much more. The night begins with a walk on the boardwalk to the education building. Animal handling experts demonstrate various live reptiles, insects, spiders, and mammals. The demonstrations allow children and families to ask questions and learn more about habitats and adaptations.

Visitors can have their faces painted, decorate a mask with natural materials, take a hayride through the night, listen to storytelling, dive for candy in a haystack, decorate sugar cookies and sip apple juice brew at a turn-of-the-century farm site.
