The Woodlands Wild Flower Festival! October 23 10am - 2pm

I am so excited! They moved this from Cochran's Crossing to Rob Fleming. It sounds like they are copying the format for Arbor Day, which was AWESOME!

I love Marsha's petting zoo! This is a great time of year to be outdoors, too. Watch for crowds so come early or late. Early is probably better. If you haven't been, and you are looking for alternative playgrounds, check out the ones in front of the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center or Tupelo Park, which is around Lake Paloma. Reminder: Rob Fleming is across the street from the George Mitchell Nature Preserve, so this could be a good day to go for a walk.

Go here for all the details! http://www.thewoodlands.net/npps/story.cfm?ID=5340

Excerpt from webpage:
Residents will be able to collect 14 varieties of free wildflower seeds, distributed by local businesses in The Woodlands, while enjoying displays of native plants, environmental exhibits and booths with nature-related gift items for sale. Children will enjoy free giant inflatable rides, a free petting zoo, pony rides, face painting and balloon artists. Lovable mascot of The Woodlands, Puffy Pine Cone, will pose for free photographs with children from 11 am until 12 noon.
