Local Non-Profit: Friends of Texas Wildlife

Now, I know who to contact when I find injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife.

From The Woodlands E-newsletter:

The Friends of Texas Wildlife is a wildlife rescue group consisting of trained and permitted volunteers, who care for injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife in Montgomery and North Harris Counties. This non-profit organization is the only rescue group in Montgomery County with rehabbers permitted by U.S. Fish and Wildlife and Texas Parks and Wildlife Departments. The Friends of Texas Wildlife receives no agency funding and relies solely on donations and memberships.  Many of the rehabbers frequently pay for vet bills and wildlife care.   For information on how you can help, visit www.friendsoftexaswildlife.org
