Join Lone Star College-CyFair for free festivities and family
fun to celebrate the sixth annual Cy-Fest community event set
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9 on the Barker Cypress
campus at West Road.
Cy-Fest 6 features activities for all ages with a petting zoo,
pumpkin patch, face painting, Radio Disney, moonwalks, duck
races, a train ride and more. New this year will be the 1st
Airborne Adventure and the Adrenaline Rush Obstacle Course.
The Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department will also hold Fire Fest
(at Station 11 located on West Road adjacent to LSC-CyFair)
with demonstrations of vehicle extrication rescues, vehicle
fire extinguishment, canine search and rescue; Life Flight
Helicopter, ladder trucks, photos with firefighters and fire
prevention characters, interactive activities, a ride on an
antique fire truck and more.
