Cute Pics: Houston Zoo

I am a member of the Houston Zoo so I received this email. Look at the cute pics!

Things I recently learned:
If the weather is a little cold or overcast the zoo is almost empty.
And the parking lot is almost empty, too!
There are tons of indoor buildings at the Zoo.
If you see a zookeeper around, you can ask them questions even if it isn't part of a scheduled activity.
Definitely bring a stroller or wagon. Rentals are between $8 and $11 with $1 returned after you return the item.
Some of the bathrooms are fun to visit just to look at the stalls.
The water outside the petting zoo at the handwashing station can be REALLY cold on cold days.
If you eat a snack (like goldfish you bring from home) in the playground next to the petting zoo, the goats will smell it and come visit you and birds will come to clean up the crumbs.

Reminder: individuals annual memberships aren't really individual because it is you get in free plus a guest. Normal price $50. Catch it for $45.
