BACKYARD MONSTERS: THE WORLD OF INSECTS

See the world through an insect's compound eye, take a Robo-Bug for a walk, and more in our newest featured exhibit. Through larger-than-life animatronics, including an impressive tarantula, a world-class insect specimen collection, and interactive education stations, you'll discover the wonderful world of the creepy crawlies that live all around us. NOW REGISTERING: DUKE TIP ACADEMIC ADVENTURES
So you think you might want to be a surgeon? An author? How about a a video game designer? Explore these careers and more during the Spring 2010 Duke TIP Academic Adventures in the Houston Museum District. Geared towards G/T students in Grades 5 and 6, these courses promote creativity and critical thinking and allow students to explore topics not typically covered in school.
