July 29: Free Lasagna Day at Buca di Beppo

Celebrate National Lasagna Day on July 29th

Join Buca for a FREE lunch-sized portion of our famous
Lasagna when you purchase any Buca Small®
or Buca Large® Pasta or EntrĂ©e

I went to the free Spaghetti day that Buca in March. Here is my post about it. The serving of spaghetti was definitely lunch size (aka small). Our waiter that day was really nice. We were 2 adults and 3 kids. Instead of getting 3 kids mac and cheese at $5 apiece, he suggested getting a $10 Mac for the kids to share. It was more than enough. I ordered a side salad at $2.99, and we got another appetizer (which I have forgotten what it was). We used our $10 off a $20 purchase coupon.

Right now, you can get a $20 Buca gift card for $12 at citydeals.com, and you can use it with the $10 coupons. Read more about this at Houstononthecheap.com

I highly suggest going for lunch instead of dinner because it is much cheaper overall. They have lunch entrees as low as $8.99 (like my favorite Eggplant Parm!). Lunch just seems cheaper, and the portions are pretty generous. I also find it less crowded during lunch.

So here is a possible scenario:
Get the $20 gift card for $12, bring with you a $10 off $20 coupon (found every where, especially in mailers and Entertainment books), and go on July 29. You can get $30 worth of food plus the lasagna for $12 + tax and tip. The gift card can probably be used on tax and tip so aim for spending closer to $24, and it will be truly only $12 out of pocket.

Let me know how it goes!
