I just made my something really yummy and definitely unusual. We had leftover Risotto, which was staring at me when I opened the fridge. We also had leftover peas. I added some peas to the risotto so I would eat the veggies. Then I needed a sauce. I used HUMMUS!! and a little Siracha spicy sauce. So, I had ingredients from Italy, Israel, Thailand, and America mixed together. I suppose all of the July 4th stuff caused me to pause to appreciate being able to create my invention. I don't think anyone would have attempted it outside of today's time. I appreciate all the abundance and diversity that we have in America. Yay, modern civilization!
