Texas Woodland and Wildlife Expo - 5/1/2010 All Day

Texas Woodland & Wildlife Expo

Mark your calendars for the Texas Woodland & Wildlife Expo scheduled May 1-May 2, 2010 at the Lone Star Convention Center in Conroe.

At the Expo, you'll learn all you ever wanted to know about managing your little piece of Texas. It doesn't matter if you're interested in managing a family forest or just landscaping your front yard. We've got the answers for you!

The Woodland & Wildlife Expo offers a variety of classes related to wildlife management, garden maintenance, land management and wildfire prevention, as well as dozens of vendor booths and live demonstrations.  There will even be an ASK THE EXPERT booth for one-on-one consultation.

And families should be sure to check out the Family Outdoor Zone, which will feature arts and crafts as well as a rock climbing wall, archery, fishing, camping, wildlife, kayaking, outdoor cooking and a whole lot more fun stuff.

The best part? It's all FREE!

For more information, go to the Texas Woodland & Wildlife Expo web site at http://expo.tamu.edu, email expo@tfs.tamu.edu or call the Texas Forest Service office in Conroe at 936-273-2261.
