April is a great time of year to be outside. During the summer there are a lot of free concerts so sign up for the pavillion's mailing list if you are interested in getting the scoop emailed to you.
"Cynthia Woods Mitchell Day Concert at the Pavilion"
The Tribute Concert to Cynthia Woods Mitchell will begin at 7:30 p.m., April 29, 2010.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Pre-concert activities include strolling artists, arts and crafts
for children, an instrument petting zoo, side stage
entertainment and more.
Hats Off to Reading Celebration from 5:30pm - 6:45pm in the Event Tent.
This area features face painting, hat making
and bookmark crafts, as well as a free book for every child who
stops by.
Mezzanine and lawn seating are free for the concert and tickets
are not required for these areas.
Lawn chairs are free and
picnics are welcome, however beverages cannot be brought into
the venue.
